Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Technologies Weslii inc. ("Technologies Weslii", "we", "us" or "our"). By downloading, installing or using Paxo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Your use of Paxo is also subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, including the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

Paxo is a step counter and daily movement app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It displays movement information available through Apple Health, including steps, walking and running distance, and active energy.

The app may also provide daily goals, progress views, historical statistics, widgets, watch features and personalization options. Available features may vary by device, operating system, permissions and the version of Paxo you use.

Paxo accesses Apple Health data only after you grant permission. You can review or revoke those permissions at any time through Apple Health or your device settings.

Movement data is measured and supplied by Apple Health and connected devices. Paxo does not control the collection of that data and cannot guarantee that step counts, distance, active energy or other estimates will always be complete, current or accurate.

An Apple Game Center account is required to use Paxo's leaderboards and related social features. Use of these features is optional, and their availability depends on Apple's services.

Leaderboards, friendships, player profiles, avatars and scores are managed by Apple. Paxo does not guarantee continuous availability, immediate score updates or the absolute accuracy of leaderboards.

You must comply with Apple's and Game Center's applicable terms, rules and policies. We may modify, suspend or remove Game Center features if Apple changes, restricts or discontinues the relevant services.

Paxo is provided for general informational, fitness and wellness purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring or treatment.

Do not rely on Paxo for medical decisions or emergencies. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about any health concern and contact local emergency services when appropriate.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Paxo in accordance with these Terms and Apple's applicable rules.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to extract Paxo's source code except where applicable law expressly permits it. You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful purposes.

Paxo may offer optional paid features through subscriptions or one-time purchases. The features, duration and price shown in the App Store or purchase screen at the time of purchase apply to your transaction.

Payments are charged to your Apple Account and are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Apple handles billing, refunds and purchase restoration under its policies. Except where required by law or Apple's rules, purchases are non-refundable. A one-time purchase provides access for as long as Paxo remains available and supports that purchase; it does not guarantee that the app or every feature will remain available forever.

We may update, add, change, suspend or discontinue Paxo or any feature to improve the app, address technical or security issues, or comply with legal requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may terminate or restrict access if you materially violate these Terms. You may stop using Paxo at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription through Apple.

Paxo depends on services and software provided by third parties, including Apple, Apple Health, Game Center, the App Store and purchase-management services. Their own terms and policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages or changes outside our control.

Paxo, including its software, design, branding, text and other original content, is owned by Technologies Weslii inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Paxo or its content to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paxo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Technologies Weslii inc. and its directors, officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, use or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Paxo.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts located in Quebec, unless mandatory consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms when Paxo, our business practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Paxo after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
